What is Pro Artists Network?
Pro Artists Network is a developing, multidisciplinary creative ecosystem designed for artists to build a professional presence and for organisations to discover talent in a structured way.
This is not another social feed — it’s long-term digital infrastructure for artistic practice.
Who can join?
All artists across disciplines: theatre, film, acting, writing, music, dance, design, visual arts, and emerging art forms.
Organisations — Companies, theatres, studios, cultural institutions, schools, galleries, NGOs — can also participate in talent discovery and collaboration.
Why do I need this if I already use Instagram?
Social platforms prioritise algorithms, not artistic practice. They’re unstable, non-archival, and lack professional structure. Pro Artists Network is being built for stability, organisation, and long-term visibility.
How is this different from LinkedIn, IMDB, Behance or any other platform like that?
LinkedIn is not for artists that we already know. Every other platform is an artistic field specific. Our strength lies in a multi-disciplinary approach. We’re building a platform specifically for all artists — It’s the missing ecosystem for arts.
I don’t have technical skills. Will I be able to use it?
Absolutely. It’s designed for simplicity — as easy as filling a form and uploading images or videos.
No coding. No web design. Just you and your art.
What can I do on the platform?
In the MVP and future phases, artists will be able to:
- Build a live professional artist profile.
- Showcase projects in text, images, video, or audio formats.
- Connect and collaborate with other artists.
- Share and access creative resources.
- Join forums and community-led discussions.
- Self-host performances, workshops, events etc.
- Be discoverable to organisations looking for talent.
7. Can organisations or institutions join?
Yes. Art organisations can also create their profiles, host projects and use the platform to discover artists, post requirements, create open calls, or collaborate with practitioners.
Will it cost money to join?
Early access and core features will be free.
Later, optional Pro tools will support long-term sustainability — while keeping the core ecosystem accessible to all.
What do I gain as an early member?
- Be part of the Founding 200 Artists shaping the MVP version.
- Early visibility among collaborators, curators, and institutions.
- Recognition as a Founding Member.
- Direct influence on features and community direction
Who owns my data and work
You do. Your profile, projects, and content remain fully under your control — with no hidden algorithms or platform-driven visibility manipulation.
Will there be verified artist profiles?
Yes, but rooted in community trust — through peer recommendations and moderator review, not pay-to-play badges
How will this initiative sustain itself financially?
Through modest, optional tools like Pro Membership, event hosting services, organisation-facing features, and premium opportunity postings.
No ads, no algorithmic manipulation, no commercial push.
When will the platform launch?
We’re currently building the MVP. Early Beta Access for 100–200 artists is underway.
A broader rollout will follow — shaped by real feedback and iteration.
How can I get involved or support?
You can:
- Take the Survey
- Join the Beta
- Collaborate as an advisor or contributor
- Support the initiative financially
